CVI Candy Donation - Kara C
We really appreciate the donation from Rogers Subaru of Hermiston. Because of their generosity, we are able to supply students a candy bar each time they meet or exceed any of their district MAPS assessments. Having them come to our assembly and toss out gifts was an added bonus that really got the students excited!
Recess Games and Toys - Caressa B
Thank you Rogers Subaru of Hermiston for generously donating many board games and toys that could be used for inside recess during the cold winter months when our kids can't go outside to play. This means the world to the kids so that they can still have active bodies and minds even during the cold winter months where they can't get outside.
Pilot Rock School District School Supplies - Nicole B
Rogers Subaru of Hermiston was so very kind to generously donate Pilot Rock Elementary many needed school supplies for our young learners. They showed up to the school with bags of everyday school supplies that were needed for many of the little learners. Thank you Rogers Subaru of Hermiston
Helping Teachers Help Students - Nicole B
Rogers Subaru of Hermiston reached out to Stanfield Elementary to see if they needed any additional school supplies to start off the school year. They promptly donated hundreds of dollars of pencils, pencil sharpeners, notebooks, headphones, and various other needed supplies. Stanfield School District has great need for these school supplies for their kiddos and often times there are gaps in the ability to get all the necessary supplies. Usually it's the teachers who end up using their own money to provide these items to help the kids acquire them. Thank you Rogers Subaru of Hermiston for helping to provide the items that are desperately needed for kids to be able to focus on learning and for teachers to not have to use their own limited resources. This generous donation means so much.
Helping feed those in need - Caressa B
Food insecurity affects so many people and in so many places. Some of the most overlooked places are in deep rural America. Rogers Subaru got involved with the North Powder, OR. food bank when they learned of the food banks missions "To support people from a remote rural area that couldn't make in to a larger metro area to receive food and support." They generously agreed to support the food bank for an entire month. Most of the resident's supported by this food bank live in remote areas that cannot, without great effort, make it into a large metro area to visit a city food bank to get the assistance they need to prevent food insecurity. Thank you to the team at Rogers Subaru of Hermiston for supporting those that are so often overlooked. It may seem like a little gesture but it is appreciated by so many; especially those that are in the places in this country that are not near major or have access to towns or cities.
Subaru Loves Pets - Shaun B
I would like to personally thank Rogers Subaru of Hermiston and Subaru of America for their generous contributions to the lives of the pets in the Hermiston, Oregon area. Through the Subaru Loves Pets program, we were able to adopt out over 70 pets to their forever homes. In fact, Rogers Subaru of Hermiston and Subaru of America generously agreed to cover the adoption costs for all our pets in the month of October. Subaru of Hermiston Delivers Hope - Tovi E
On July 24th, Subaru of Hermiston partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Good Shepherd Health Care System through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. Through Subaru of Hermistons participation in these programs, it shows they care. Subaru of Hermiston consistently shows up and shows out for their community, and that impact was felt on the delivery day. Good Shepherd Health Care System was a joy to work with, and we were so happy they were the recipients of Subaru of Hermistons donation. We are so grateful to work and live in a community that takes care of one another.
